The same lion or many lions?

Mountain lion sightings seem to be up on the West Side in the last few weeks, according to the buzz around Manitou Springs. A lion almost snagged a dog on El Paso Blvd. One has been spotted on Lincoln Ave several times. And one on Washington Ave. in the past two weeks, cornereda woman in her jacuzzi room.

Sadly, a lion was hit by a car on Hwy 24 near Red Rock Canyon this week. The driver turned out to be a city parks employee. Same lion?

Isn't that were another mountain lion was hit last fall? They thought it was one of the siblings that had been spotted in Garden of the Gods (great photos on the blog; look for mountain lion tag)

Spring time always gets them active soon the baby deer will be out. Bummer about the one that was killed by a car, ridge road is a wildlife corridor between the parks.

Hit by a car???!!!!! Heavens to Murgatroyd!

Do you get out of your car and assess the damage after you hit a mountain lion? I'd be looking for revenge if I got hit by a car.
