The snow race

Both A. Basin and Loveland are blowing snow in a race to be the first ski area in the country to open. Above is a picture from this morning of Loveland. Apparently the last few days have been a bit too warm to really get things cranking. But the weather report is calling for chances of rain and snow this weekend on the Divide, so maybe Mother Nature will lend a hand.

Daytime temps are still in the 60's up there it seems like a waste to be making snow now just for the marketing of the first to open.

I just hope that Mother Nature would able to lend hand to make things better. It would probably be one of the best spots when it could be fully developed. Good Luck. Hope everything would turn out better. Thanks for the share.
