Here's a look at Barr Trail earlier this week. Gaz photog Christian Murdock snapped it. He spent the night as guest caretaker for Neal and Teresa. I posted earlier that Barr Camp has received 205 inches of snow since, oh, October.
Thanks for the photo, Christian. Send us your trail reports and we'll post them. Is there any trail out there that ISN'T soaked?

I ran up there today. The trail's a lot better than last week when everything above No-Name had over a foot of snow on it. The only significant snow I ran into was within 1/4 mile of Barr Camp itself. Altho the snow can slow you down a bit, this is a good time of year because you don't dehydrate in 10 minutes, and the smells of the damp forest are wonderful.
Thanks for the update. Sounds like a great way to spend Sunday morning!
