Biking 101

The freeride bike park at
Red Rock Canyon Open Space officially opens to riders this weekend. Dave popped over for a look-see and a tutorial on mastering the stunts.
To see the back story on how and why Medicine Wheel built the park, click here.

Check out his story and photog Kirk Speer's snaps in
Friday's Out There.

And watch
Dave's video of Tom Lynch and Cory Sutela riding the teeter-totter, skinny, Tony's Stunt and the berms.

Band-Aids not included.

Um... Dave, it would have been nice to have mentioned Medicine Wheel in the article. After all, they were a big part of the planning and coordination.

True.
When I get in Friday morning I'll make sure we link here to the first story that outlines how the freeride park came to be.

In the meantime, you can follow the Medicine Wheel link on the blog home page to see more about the group's work at Red Rock or go here:

Plans are under way for a park in Bear Creek, too.

Jeez Jim. Sometimes you want Medwheel mentioned. Sometimes you don't.
I agree though, it's important to point out who put this together.

My bad Dave. Didn't realize you were trying to do us a favor.
