Yes, moths. I love 'em. The ugly, night flying step-sister of the butterfly is really pretty cool, but gets no respect. Usually the only time Coloradans pay attention at all to the little fliers is during the almost annual miller moth migration. But the CU museum in Boulder has a moth exhibit this spring, called Moth Matters, featuring giant colorful digital images of moths by Joseph Scheer, Professor of Print Media at Alfred University in New York. According to the museum, "the powerful images draw you into new understandings of these amazing insect creatures of the night. The exhibition also includes fantastic moths from the CU Museum's vast entomology collection."
Sounds cool. The CU museum is a store-house of weird stuff. They also have an extensive bee collection -- possibly the biggest one in the world.
