We headed to GOG Saturday morning at 9 to get some hiking in before the parade/melee. There were fewer than 10 cars in the main lot, and none besides ours in the south lot. We did a couple of laps of Ridge Trail without encountering another soul (here’s a photo from the top, near Sleeping Giant). Then the dogs wore out, so we went home.
Is it possible that everyone else was already testing out Dave’s “Paddywhacked” advice?
