Southern Colorado is bracing for more heavy snow and the south central mountains also could see 18 inches. Front Range urban areas could get three to eight inches.
The National Weather Service says up to two feet could fall in the eastern Saguache Range, La Garitas and higher elevations of the San Juans.

The Colorado Avalanche Information Center's weather discussion has this to say: The next major system is brewing off the cost of California and is forecast to move into Colorado over the weekend. As it approaches it will leave us in a weather no-mans land. Thursday night and into Friday, the winds will decrease and mountain top temperatures will warm. There remains a lot of disagreement in the timing and track of next system. Unfortunately those are two very important issues. Snow could start as early as Friday afternoon in the San Juan zones and then spread northward overnight.

Alas, it snowed in Malibu CA - woe is me and the weather folks are having a tizzy - so much whining because we have had a few cold nights in the 30's. Too bad for our citrus and the big issue here is, "Will there be enough avocados to make guacamole for Super Bowl Sunday." - Jean from Santee
