Cat recovery, day 3: force feeding

Sorry for the graphic photo. As many Out There readers, and well-wishers know, Sparkle, my adopted alley cat was attacked by a dog Monday. She has a few good gashes that have been stitched up the the vet, but she shows few signs of improving. She refuses to eat or drink. I've had to start force-feeding her water with a syringe. I am also giving her small amounts of milk, just so she has some food. I keep hoping she'll realized I'm squirting her favorite food into her mouth and stop resisting. So far, that hasn't happened.
We go back to the vet tomorrow. Hopefully we'll have good news.

Think tuna, Sparkle, and eat! I'm pulling for you. Good luck at the vet tomorrow.

Oh, come on Sparkle, eat. Thanks for the continual update on her. She's very pretty, even with the horrible scars. Good luck at the vets.

Try smearing a little bit of turkey baby food on her face, and see if she licks it off. I tried that with one of my cats when she was sick and it seemed to work.
