This is what the summit of Pikes Peak looks like this morning, clear as a bell, overlooking a sea of clouds. Colorado Springs is experiencing an upslope, which means warm, moist air is coming up from the southeast and getting trapped against the mountains. The cloud level seems to be at about 8,000 feet. If you can get above that, you can bet on beautiful weather.
Apparently Woodland Park is in the sun right now, too, so you don't have to go far.
