Pueblo's Chili and Frijole festival this weekend (Sept 22-24) will offer a new way to cool off after sampling some of the city's delicious roasted green chile. The community is offering free whitewater raft rides through Pueblo's white water park. The park features about six Class III drops, so this isn't just a floating version of a pony ride.
Raft rides are 10 am to 3 pm Saturday and Sunday. The park will also feature boogie board and kayak competitions. For more info, call Edge Ski, Paddle and Pack: 719-583-2021.
