This festival would have been a coup (as in the car) for Ski Cooper, but Copper Mountain snagged it instead: the first annual MINIs in the Mountains festival, celebrating, you guessed it, the car called the Cooper. Owners of retro Mini Coopers and classic Minis will converge on the resort Thursday through Sunday. They'll show off their rides in Burning Stones Plaza and around the Village at Copper on Saturday. Other events include a free showing of the movie "The Italian Job" at 8:30 p.m. Saturday. For more information, go to
