The good news: The weather forecast for this weekend looks promising, with high temperatures around 90 degrees and abundant sunshine (on a weekend that in past years has featured snow, wind and sheets of rain). The better news: seven Colorado State Parks still have campsites available for reservation.
Parks with open sites: Arkansas Headwaters Recreation Area, Bonny Lake State Park, Eleven Mile State Park, James M. Robb-Colorado River State Park, Island Acres, Paonia State Park, State Forest State Park, and Yampa River State Park.
