Spring before more winter

It was so warm Saturday I had tulip buds coming up. Friends and I didn't have time to go ride Pueblo, like a lot of people did this weekend, so we went to Palmer Park. There were a few icy and muddy spots, but the trails were 99 percent clear. The didn't keep us from getting five flat tires for three riders, which may be my all-time record. Still, the riding was great and we stopped at Flor de Jalisco, my favorite taco wagon on the way home. Then we sat on the porch drinking Manitou Lemonade. Not a bad taste of spring. The next morning I shoveled snow.

So were they goat head flats or dreaded snakebites?
