Trail report

A jog up to Barr Camp Sunday showed the mountain trails in the Pikes Peak region are still overwhelmingly snow-packed. There was very little melt or ice past the second mile, making for good footing. Lower down, freeze and thaw have made for a slick mix.

I was surprised yesterday that there really wasn't any ice on the Incline. The middle section was pretty clear but everything else was just snow. The connector from the top to Barr had some pretty icy spots which isn't surprising with since it's south facing.
