With snow on the way, Beaver Creek opens Stone Chutes

Beaver Creek is a pretty gnarly mountain to begin with (despite its well-deserved rep as a shee=shee hideaway for the ultra-wealthy) but the Stone Creek Chutes are really gnarly -- narrow, steep and just overall committing. They just opened. If you're in the neighborhood, check them out. Then go get a fresh warm chocolate chip cookie and nurse your wounds.
