Mega hiker out of Colorado

A few weeks ago, Out There had a profile of Andrew Skurka, the mega hiker doing the 6,000-mile Great Western Loop. When we caught up with him in mid-September, he was in Summit County heading south. He was worried about making it through the San Juans before weather moved in. Well, it moved in, and hit him, and washed him down a stream, but he made it through anyway.
