The monthly meeting for Friends of Red Rock Canyon happens tonight (July 5) from 7 to 9 PM in the Academy Room at City Hall.The group will be discussing transforming the old Bock house into an open-air pavilion. The city already has plans for this. It's just a matter of getting the money together. Apparently the garage/bombshelter next door will be knocked down. Too bad -- a piece of Cold War history destroyed.
