Pictures from Humboldt Peak rescue

14ers.com member ColoradoNative was one of the search and rescue volunteers who responded when another member, David Worthington, of Littleton, fell while climbing Humboldt Peak near Westcliff on Sunday.
He has posted an eerily beautiful series of photos from the rescue here. Incidentally, a number of local SAR volunteers helped on the rescue. Ultimately, Worthington died. Read more about it in a post below.

Excellent write up and photos of the unfortunate event.

This and the Pikes Peak rescue prove the strong effort and ability the rescue teams are capable of.

What a valiant effort in a beautiful place. The mountain claims another body but his spirit lives on.
