Lou Dawson v. Forest Service

Legendary and somewhat cantankerous ski mountaineer Lou Dawson has a rant against the Forest Service on his blog www.wildsnow.com, today. The beef: he thinks the Forest Service is being unreasonable in banning footage filmed in wilderness areas during Chris Davenport's successful skiing of all Colorado's 14ers. (see post below.) Newspaper reports make it seem like none of the footage from the wilderness will ever see the light of day. I have a feeling there will be ample covert online distribution.

Lou's tired rants are the reason I stopped reading his blog.

I guess the downside of blogs is that people can find out that, in addition to being a semi-famous ski mountaineer and author, you're also an old windbag.

"anon" sounds like the guy that wrote similar garbage about Chris Davenport's exploits earlier this season.
It doesn't look like you've had any success resolving your issues dude.

Seems to me that you, blue goose, have similar issues....you're just as big an A-hole for giving somebody crap just because they don't share your butt kissing opinions.

We can do without name calling, thanks.
