Volunteers are needed to work Saturday to do stream-side reinforcement and protect a stream from erosion below Skagway Reservoir in Victor.
The crew will do willow sprigging, seeding, and placement of erosion control fabric. Organizer Sam needs to know by THURSDAY MORNING if you'll join in. Call 268-1762.
You'll get a lunch, T-shirt and a ride. You should take water, waders or hip boots, hand pruning shears, gloves and sunscreen. There'll be a small stream fly fishing clinic afterward.
