April 2-15 is Spring Back to Vail, rated the No. 1 ski party in North America by Skiing Magazine.
The generally raucous soiree includes free live music featuring a free concert reggae bad Third World on April 7. The World Pond Skimming Championship stakes place at the base of Golden Peak from 2-5 p.m. on April 14; skimmers are judged on their ability to cross the churning pond of ice cold water as well as their costume creativity.
