The old St. Mary's Glacier ski area is being repackaged as Eclipse Snowboard Park. It passed an important regulatory hurdle Thursday night when the final meeting for the rezoning of Eclipse Snow Park to C-OR (Commercial Outdoor Recreation) was completed with a 2-1 vote in favor. The next step in the county process the Development Review phase where the backers will present the Master Plan for the park project to the County.The area would be the second long-closed mom and pop ski hill near Denver to reopen. Squaw Pass became Echo Mountain Park in 2006. It's been having a great year.
