Local snow news

It's a sure sign of the end of a Colorado summer - snow on the peak. Pikes Peak, that is. The rangers at the highway report this morning there are about 4 inches of snow on the summit. The highway is open to Devil's Playground, and earlier this morning, was only open 11 1/2 miles.
