Clyde gets a reprieve

Last week, reports from a ranch near Craig said a ranch hand had been gored to death by a popular domesticated elk named Clyde. Things looked bad for Clyde - his owner Lou Wyman of Wyman Living History Ranch and Museum, said the trophy sized elk would be killed. Now, the AP reports that the worker died because of a heart problem. When ranch workers found John Renner in the pen with Clyde, the animal had blood on its antlers. Now officials say Clyde had probably nudged and pushed at Renner with his antlers when he fell to the ground.
