Funny, and fairly accurate
Here's a tongue-in-cheek cheat sheet for how to generate names of subdivisions in Denver. It could easily work for the Springs too.

Brilliant. Ironically these subdivisions are usually named for what they displaced or outright destroyed. So I guess you could rightly call the big granite or wood signs placed at the entrance to each of these subdivisions "tombstones". As in (Remember the) Haven at Prairie Edge Vista.
