Expect to see shots from Gazette photographer David Bitton in days to come. He's a desert rat this week, following PQ, but is wrestling a laptop with a mind of its own.

I resemble that remark!
Anyway, as a brand new blogger I just thought I'd "blog search" myself and came across my teammates and I in your photo. Yeh, that was a pretty low moment in the heat of the day - having to carry that #$@#$@ paddle gear up the side of a mountain to eventually sit in a shadeless desert putting our bikes together. Other than that, it was a beautiful race.
