Last summer I ran into Stewart while climbing in Red Rock Canyon Open Space. I was (and still am) pretty beginner and he was giving me all sorts of tips. We really didn't know who the guy was until we looked at the cover of our guide book and saw him on it. Super great guy.
The same thing happened to me with Rick Steves whilst I was taking Europe Through the Back Door.
