The little guy can relax, at least for now. The National Park Service won't increase charges for wildlife photographers and other small independent filmmakers within the national parks. A new fee schedule that was supposed to begin this month would have charged filmmakers $150 a day, up from $200 a year. But a spokesman for the Department of the Interior said that rate was designed for big-time filmmakers. The newest policy says the little guys won't have to pay location fees.
