Pikes Peak ski area
A $1 million down payment for the land on the west side of Pikes Peak that a Boulder investor has proposed for a ski area is due today. Land-owner Harvey Carter doesn't think it is coming. Developing....
Ya I don't think this guy had any idea what kind of money & time this whole thing would cost.
Personally I would love to see Harvey's land turned over to a conservancy upon passing. It is spectacular subalpine land and would be a great place for a living laboratory, nature & public retreat center.
